dejaded works is a platform where I share my work and ideas. I like to think of my creative journey as one big learning experience that continuously evolves with each project and collaboration.
My practice explores the relationships that shape human experience; from natural systems and behavioural patterns to emotional and social dynamics.
Through visual exploration, I’m interested in how complexity organises itself, how balance emerges, and how subtle connections reveal themselves when we pay closer attention.
At its core, the work is an ongoing exploration of how different systems intersect and evolve.
DjadeD is a subtle play on words: my name, (Jade Dowrie) and a quiet resistance to becoming “jaded.” It reflects a way of seeing rooted in curiosity over assumption. My work simply begins with paying attention: noticing patterns in nature, shared human experiences and the connections between them/us. I’m drawn to these quiet repetitions and moments of recognition. DjadeD is therefore a reminder to stay open, keep questioning, and invite others to see the world that way too.
